Things to check after converting
- Times like 08:30 stay text. Use Excel's TIMEVALUE function or Text to Columns to calculate with them.
- Decimal hours like 7.5 become numbers; in the European format 7,5 they stay text.
- Weekly subtotals and signature lines appear as their own rows – filter them out before you sum.
- Multi-page timesheets: choose “All pages in one sheet” to get one continuous list.
Before payroll or invoicing
Compare the converted total with the total printed on the timesheet before you pass it on – if a row is missing, the two numbers won't match.

Can I total the hours in Excel after converting?
Yes, if the hours are written as decimal numbers like 7.5. Times written as 08:30 need TIMEVALUE first.
Does it work with scanned or handwritten timesheets?
No. Scans and handwriting are images, and OCR (text recognition) is not supported. Use the PDF exported from the time tracking system.
Can I combine several weeks?
Convert each PDF and paste the rows into one sheet, or merge the PDFs first and convert them in one go.
Are employee names and hours uploaded?
No. The timesheet is converted in your browser and stays on your device.
