Purchase Order PDF to Excel
Purchase orders come from customers or your own purchasing system as PDF. Checking them against an offer, a delivery note or an invoice line by line is much easier in a spreadsheet.
PDFConvertFast turns the order lines of a digital purchase order into Excel rows. Faxed or scanned orders are not supported, because they contain no selectable text.

Checking an order in Excel
- Article numbers with leading zeros (e.g. 000451) stay text, so they still match your system.
- Quantities and plain prices become numbers; check line totals with =quantity*price.
- Header and address blocks become separate text rows above the order lines.
- Long descriptions that wrap in the PDF can end up as two rows – merge them if needed.

Purchase order to Excel – questions and answers
Can I compare the purchase order with the invoice?
Yes. Convert both to Excel and compare them with VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP on the article number.
Do article numbers keep their leading zeros?
Yes. Values with leading zeros stay text, so 000451 doesn't turn into 451.
Does it work with faxed orders?
No. Faxes and scans are images, and OCR is not supported. Ask for the digital PDF.
Are order details uploaded?
No. The PDF is converted in your browser and stays on your device.
