Supplier Price List From PDF to Excel
Suppliers and wholesalers send their price lists as PDF – often dozens of pages. To compare suppliers, calculate selling prices or import articles into your shop, you need those prices in a spreadsheet.
PDFConvertFast turns digital price lists into Excel rows with article number, description and price in separate columns. Scanned price lists are not supported, because OCR is not available.

Typical columns
- Article number and description
- Unit, pack size or minimum order quantity
- List price, sometimes graduated prices for larger quantities
- VAT rate or a note whether prices are net or gross
Calculating with the prices
- Prices like 24.90 become numbers; with a currency sign (€24.90) or in European format (24,90) they stay text – Find & Replace fixes that.
- Add a column with your margin, e.g. =price*1.35, to get selling prices.
- Section headings such as product groups appear as separate rows – handy for filtering.
- Catalogue images and logos are not converted.

Price list to Excel – questions and answers
Can I import the price list into my shop?
Yes. Clean up the columns in Excel, then save as CSV with Excel to CSV for most shop imports.
Why are some prices text instead of numbers?
Prices with a currency sign or with a decimal comma stay text. Remove the symbol or change the comma with Find & Replace.
Does it work with a scanned catalogue?
No. Scanned pages contain images of text and need OCR, which is not supported.
Is the price list uploaded?
No. It is converted in your browser and stays on your device.
